Swimmer’s ear and Water-borne diseases

Abstract


Swimmer’s ear, also known as otitis externa, is a common condition during the summer swimming season. However, it’s not only swimmers who get swimmer’s ear. Showering or washing your hair can cause the problem in some people. A scratch to the
delicate lining of the ear canal can also cause irritation or infection of the ear canal.
