Sun sense is not nonsense

Abstract


All living creatures on earth, in one way or another, are dependent on the sun and its radiation to survive
and as residents of sunny South Africa, it would be difficult to comprehend life without sunshine. However, in recent years, emphasis has been placed on the dangers of exposure of the skin and eyes to the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays. In the sun-loving environment of South Africa, precautions around the potentially dangerous effects of the sun and UV exposure are particularly important.
