Abstract
Dandruff is a common skin condition which causes flaking and itching of the skin on the scalp. The condition usually appears during puberty and reaches a peak during early adulthood. Dandruff is not contagious and can be effectively controlled with appropriate skin and hair care. It tends to recur if treatment is stopped.
